The General Assembly of FC Andorra has unanimously approved this Saturday, Dec. 29th, the transmission of its assets in favour of an Andorran company jointly managed by different investors, including Kosmos. The transmission will take effect of conformity and will be effective once the new Sports Law approved by the Andorran Government in December enters into force. The FC Andorra is the oldest and most legendary club of the Principality of Andorra, a sovereign microstate on the Iberian Peninsula, located in the Eastern Pyrenees. Founded in 1942, the FC Andorra has played fourteen seasons in the Spanish Second B Division and forty-one seasons in the Spanish Third Division. Its first team is currently playing on the First Regional Catalan Division, currently in 8th place. Kosmos welcomes the decision made by the club. The company adds this new project to its global portfolio linked to sports, media and entertainment ventures, growing and creating leadership strategies across different forms of content, platforms and technologies.
